A photo of Major Taylor's grave marker seen over the handlebars of a bicycle. Another bicycle is laid down in the grass behind the grave. There's a larger monument with a relief and the inscription 'The Good Shepherd' in the background. Two cyclists wearing helmets and sunglasses smile at the camera under a partly cloudy sky. There's a large group ride behind them and a train passing by across their path. Cyclists ride toward a modern building with a pink and gray wall and a large white mascot-hand holding a screen in front. The screen is off. A commemorative plaque dedicated to Major Taylor is set in the grass. There's an image of Taylor riding his bicycle at the top. The marker reads: Dedicated to the memory of Marshal W. 'Major' Taylor. 1878 - 1932. World's champion bicycle racer who came up the hard way without hatred in his heart. An honest, courageous and god-fearing, clean living gentle-manly athlete. A credit to his race who always gave out his best gone but not forgotten. - • - By bicycle racing stars 19th century association. Dedicated May 23, 1948.
